The book combines clear historical explanation with maps, images, and practical on-site orientation.
The Book Includes:
- Clear accounts of what happened on each landing beach
- An explanation of Allied planning, preparation, and training
- 6–10 detailed maps explaining movements and decisions
- Rich photography and illustrations throughout
- Practical information on war cemetries, memorial sites, and museum across Normandy
Museums are graded on a three-level scale to help visitors choose what is most worth seeing, depending on time and interest.
